What China Listed on the 2026 Yangwang U8
The 2026 Yangwang U8 file that an importer can use is the China configuration table on Yangwang’s own site, not a dealer slogan about the world’s most powerful SUV. The teaching object for this article is the U8 configuration page at yangwangauto.com, retrieved on 14 September 2026. The page’s own notes say the table applies from March 2026. In that table the 2026 U8 is a body-on-frame PHEV: a 2.0-litre high-power engine plus the e4 four-motor system, a second-generation BYD Blade battery of 56.58 kWh, four permanent-magnet motors at 220 kW each, 880 kW and 1,520 N·m combined, 3.5 seconds to 100 km/h, a 200 km/h top speed, CLTC electric range 230 km, CLTC combined range 1,205 km, a 90-litre tank for 92-octane fuel, and a DC charge line that prints a maximum of 574 kW and 9 minutes 28 seconds from 10 percent to 97 percent. Those are China-sheet facts. They are not a Gulf type-approval, not a European WLTP pack, and not a yard count.
This is a news-analysis file, not a brochure rewrite. AutoCN will help you keep China CLTC, destination cycles, and export paperwork in separate cells. It will not treat the China navigation price of 1,008,000 yuan as an export quotation, and it will not copy a United Arab Emirates retailer page onto this China table.
What changed enough to open a new 2026 column
The configuration page labels the selectable car as Yangwang U8 2026 and prints second-generation BYD Blade battery in the battery-type row. That second-generation Blade line, the 56.58 kWh capacity, the 574 kW DC peak, and the 9-minute-28-second 10–97 percent window are the energy-and-charge update an overseas buyer has to file. Older U8 stories that only mention flotation, e4, and a luxury cabin are incomplete if the bid is for a 2026 China sheet. Copy the March 2026 note into the file header. If a seller sends a 2023 luxury-edition code without the new charge row, you have a previous column.
Industry reports in early March 2026 described a Yangwang lineup event that put second-generation Blade and flash charging on U7, U8, and U8L. Those reports are useful as a date stamp. They are not a substitute for the official table. This article quotes the table. It does not quote a journalist’s dollar conversion as a contract price.
What the same table still treats as architecture, not as news
e4, four motors, a 2.0-litre range-extender engine, DiSus-P+ hydraulic body control, and emergency flotation language were already part of the U8 public story before this sheet. The 2026 table still prints them: body-on-frame, 5,319 mm length including the spare tyre, 2,050 mm width, 1,930 mm height, 3,050 mm wheelbase, approach and departure angles that rise in the high ride position, 205 mm or 285 mm ground clearance, 1,031 / 2,050 litres for the cargo pair, 1 metre wading depth, 14 drive modes, and a 30 kW stationary generation function. Those rows tell you the car is still a China-market luxury off-roader with a generator and four motors. They do not tell you the car is legal on a destination highway.
A filing table for the March 2026 China sheet
| Cell | What yangwangauto.com printed for 2026 U8 | What you must not infer |
|---|---|---|
| Energy type | PHEV, 2.0T high-power engine + e4 | That the U8 is a battery-electric SUV like a Europe Tang |
| Pack | Second-generation Blade, 56.58 kWh | A 108.8 kWh Europe BEV pack because both say Blade |
| Motors | Four motors, 220 kW each, 880 kW and 1,520 N·m | A two-motor AWD sentence from another BYD SUV |
| Sprint / speed | 3.5 s to 100 km/h, 200 km/h maximum | A destination speed-limiter certificate |
| Range | CLTC 230 km electric, CLTC 1,205 km combined | A WLTP or EPA photocopy of those kilometres |
| DC charge | Max 574 kW; 9 min 28 s, 10–97% | That every destination charger can deliver 574 kW |
| AC charge | 7 kW, 8.4 h, 10–100% | An 11 kW three-phase Europe assumption |
| Fuel | 90 L, 92-octane, China VI B | That 92-octane and China VI B travel with the car |
| Cabin kit | DiLink 300, 12.8-inch OLED, 23.6-inch cluster, God’s Eye A with three lidars | That maps and assist work outside China software |
| Price | China site navigation: 1,008,000 yuan starting | An FOB, CIF, or destination on-the-road number |
Why a UAE page must not edit this column
A United Arab Emirates Yangwang retailer page retrieved in the same research pass advertises an Arabian Edition with WLTC combined language around 800 km, a WLTC electric line around 112 km, and horsepower marketing that is not the China table’s 880 kW row. That page is a destination commercial file. It is useful only as proof that export naming and test cycles change. Do not average 1,205 km CLTC with 800 km WLTC. Do not put “world’s most powerful” into a bid because a retailer used that phrase. If you are buying a UAE car, open the UAE booklet. If you are buying a China 2026 U8 for export, keep this March 2026 table and start an empty destination column.
Software is the second split. The China table lists city and highway navigation assist, three lidars, five millimetre-wave radars, and a long assist-function list, with footnotes that some starred items need later OTA and that the system cannot replace the driver. China’s city navigation assist is not a European or Gulf approval. Write “China kit, destination function unknown” until a local operator shows the same functions on that VIN.
Flotation, wading, and other sentences that get over-copied
The China table prints a 1-metre wading depth and keeps the brand’s emergency flotation story in the wider U8 materials. Those are manufacturer capability rows for the China configuration. They are not a marine certificate, not an insurance undertaking, and not a reason to skip a wading-depth law in the destination. Photograph the seals, the snorkel-related hardware if present, and the warning labels. Do not sell a flood car as a boat because the brochure can float.
What an importer should add before anyone mentions stock
Add the charge-inlet family on the actual car. The table prints DC time and a 7 kW AC time. It does not print CCS2 in the rows retrieved here. A China GB/T inlet plus a 574 kW peak is a China charging-network story. Destination megawatt-class sites, if they exist, need a written standard. Add lighting, radio, and bumper rules. Add whether 92-octane and AdBlue-free China VI B mean anything at the destination pump. Add whether DiLink 300 will still take maps after the car leaves the mainland account. Add a parts path for 22-inch forged wheels and carbon-ceramic discs if those options are on the VIN. The table notes that a 22-inch carbon-ceramic special launched on 5 March 2026. Options are not standard. Copy the option marks.
Leave inventory empty. Leave freight empty. Leave duty empty. The China starting price in the site navigation is a China retail orientation figure with the usual “subject to the actual car” disclaimer in the footnotes. AutoCN’s price guides can hold a landed-cost skeleton. They cannot fill a U8 invoice. A tile on the brand centre is not a Yangwang allocation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Did Yangwang officially refresh the U8 for 2026?
The official configuration page labels a 2026 U8 and says the table applies from March 2026, with second-generation Blade, 56.58 kWh, and the 574 kW / 9-minute-28-second DC row. That is the first-party update this file will stand on. Marketing events reported in March 2026 are a date context, not a second specification.
Is 1,205 km a real highway range?
It is a CLTC combined figure on the China table, which includes the fuel tank in the energy budget. The same footnotes say temperature and driving change the result. Do not paste 1,205 km into a WLTP or EPA cell. Do not treat 230 km CLTC electric as a winter motorway number.
Can an importer use the 574 kW peak abroad?
Only if the destination inlet, the cable, and the site can meet the written standard for that chassis. The China row is a maximum on the China sheet. Most public posts a buyer will meet will not be 574 kW. Size the trip against the inlet you photographed, not against the peak in the table.
Does flotation mean the car is certified for flood zones?
No. It is a manufacturer capability story around the U8. Destination insurance, recovery law, and workshop reality live elsewhere. This page will not turn flotation into a safety rating or a shipping method.
Will AutoCN source a 2026 U8 from stock?
AutoCN is a sourcing and information platform. It will not claim stock, a yuan-to-dollar export price, or destination approval. Use guides to keep the China sheet honest and contact when you need the next file step. Ask for the VIN and the March 2026 rows on that VIN.
File the China table, then open an empty destination column
The 2026 Yangwang U8, on Yangwang’s own March 2026 configuration table, is a China PHEV off-roader with a second-generation 56.58 kWh Blade pack, four 220 kW motors, CLTC 230 / 1,205 km, and a 574 kW DC line that the company times at 9 minutes 28 seconds from 10 to 97 percent. That is a precise China file. It becomes a sloppy export rumour the moment someone pastes a UAE WLTC number, a retailer horsepower slogan, or a yuan starting price into the destination cells. Keep the China table. Leave stock, freight, and approval empty until a named operator writes them. AutoCN will help you keep that split. It will not fill the empty cells with hope.
