All-New Kia Telluride Officially Unveiled; Set for LA Auto Show Debut with Gasoline and Hybrid Options

Kia has officially released images of the all-new Telluride. Sharing its platform with the all-new Hyundai Palisade, the model will offer both gasoline and hybrid powertrains. It is scheduled for a global premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 21 and is expected to go on sale in the North American market in the first quarter of 2026.

Exterior Design

The all-new Telluride introduces bold innovations based on Kia’s "Opposites United" design philosophy. The front features a large blacked-out grille with multiple rectangular accents, enhancing its commanding presence. Vertically arranged headlights on both sides support customizable signature lighting effects, adding a sense of ceremony. The lower bumper incorporates a tow hook, emphasizing its off-road capability.

The side profile employs a blacked-out A-pillar to create a floating roof effect, along with flush door handles. Wheel options include 18-inch, 20-inch, and 21-inch designs. The rear maintains a rounded and clean appearance, with taillights and a lower bumper that echo the front design, delivering a modern and stylish look.

Interior & Features

The cabin adopts a driver-centric wraparound layout, featuring a dual-screen display and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. A significant number of physical buttons are retained on the center console for ease of use. The central island includes a wireless charging pad and an armrest, while the storage compartment offers flexible configurations to suit different user preferences.

The interior is arranged in a 2+2+3 seating layout. The front seats are equipped with heating and ventilation functions, while the second-row seats offer power adjustment and foldable tables.

Powertrain

The new Telluride is expected to share powertrains with the Hyundai Palisade, including a 3.5L V6 naturally aspirated engine with a maximum output of 291 hp. A hybrid version will also be available, combining a 2.5L turbocharged engine with two electric motors for a total system output of 334 hp. Both drivetrains will be offered in two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations.
